A Planner at Heart....

You can take the planner out of the meeting, but you can't take the meeting out of the planner! I excel at cultivating and nurturing relationships with people; connecting key partners; and getting along with different personalities. My expertise as an event planner includes end-to-end production and cross-functional collaboration in various sectors, including corporate events, mortgage, FinTech, medical, associations, not-for-profit, startups, and networking events. I recently spent two years managing an amazing marketing team at TrustEngine, a leading mortgage industry FinTech/SaaS company. Additionally, I do freelance and consulting event work through my company, Around Chicago Events, LLC, where I also serve as a day of planner and event producer.

I Yearn to Connect

Everything I do, and always have done, revolves around connecting people. My favorite way to achieve this is through live, in-person interactions, although I also cherish the virtual space. Technology brings us closer together, especially when we connect with friends and colleagues on a global level. For two years, I co-founded and managed The Breathing Festival and International Center for Breathwork, an online festival and related membership program designed to help humanity elevate our collective vibration by exploring the power of our breath. As an event planner, I also understand the importance of corporate events and how effective management can enhance these experiences. Whether as a day of planner or an event producer, my goal remains the same: to foster meaningful connections.

Around Chicago LIVE!

Around Chicago LIVE! was my pride and joy from 2010 - 2020. This bimonthly networking event was one of Chicago's most well-known and loved corporate events. It brought thousands of Chicago's top hospitality professionals together to mingle at downtown's hottest and iconic venues. Our annual Signature Showcase at the Willis Tower Skydeck featured 30+ vendors and a sold-out crowd at this not-to-be-missed industry trade show! As an event producer, we curated an A+ list of Chicago venues, most of whom were repeat hosts, including, among others, Willis Tower Skydeck, The Signature Room at the 95th, Morton's, Prime + Provisions, Siena Tavern, Jilly's, The Redhead Piano Bar, NoMi at the Park Hyatt, The Sofitel Magnificent Mile, The InterContinental Michigan Avenue, Carnivale, Wildfire, Hard Rock, Roy's, Sullivan's, Ruth's Chris, Spiaggia, VU Rooftop, Katana, Devon Seafood Grill, City Tavern, Rockit and Sunda.
